A visual RAAC survey starts from £395. A full engineering inspection of a large or complex building is priced per building once we know its size, access and the level of detail required.

What decides the price
- Size. The area of roof, floor or wall to be surveyed.
- Access. Ceiling heights, voids, whether the building is occupied and when we can work. Evening, weekend and holiday visits are no problem.
- Level of detail. A visual survey, or a plank by plank engineering inspection and structural assessment.
- Complexity. Hospitals and other complex buildings are priced per building.
What you get
A visual survey confirms whether RAAC is present, records the type and extent of panels and notes visible defects. An engineering inspection adds plank by plank scanning, assessment against the current IStructE RAAC guidance, a risk category for each area and a management and remediation strategy. Every assessment is signed by a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers.
The report follows within five working days of the site visit, depending on the size of the survey and the level of detail required.
